Engineering Principal
As one of the Principals Alek Abramov presents over 40 years of experience in consulting engineering. Throughout the years Alek has worked as a Director and Senior Engineer of HVAC for well known companies; Gausman & Moore, Buro Happold, Ettinger Engineering, Jarmel Kizel Architects and Engineers and others. While working as a Director of HVAC, Alek has orchestrated the design of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems of various domestic and international projects. As a Engineering Principal at A&S, Alek takes an active role in HVAC design, calculations, quality assurance, review of all the work in progress and final client submissions including preparation of Construction Documents. As a Professor and Consulting Engineer Alek offers the analytical skill and experience which allows to solve the most challenging problems in the Building Science. With his educational background he also offers a strong mentor backbone within the mechanical department.

Dawid Szast, P.Eng.,
Managing Principal
Dawid Szast presents over 11 years of experience in consulting engineering. Dawid has worked at multiple MEP consulting firms where he has gained his extensive experience working as a designer and Project Manager. While working as a Project Manager, Dawid has managed multi-discipline design, engineering and construction administration for residential, commercial, industrial and educational projects nationwide including new construction, renovations and additions. In his day-to-day activities at A&S, Dawid oversees all the project management, attends construction and design phase meetings and reviews the MEPFP design concepts. He is also involved with HVAC design, calculations, quality assurance and preparation of Construction Documents as well as business development, and administrative services.
